Supervisor, Global Professional Education Operations supports the development and execution of global professional education initiatives in partnership with the Head of Professional Education. This role is both a people-leadership and operational position: the Supervisor leads and develops the Professional Education Coordinators and Grants Coordinator while serving as the primary cross-functional liaison among internal stakeholders, external vendors, and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
A critical focus of this position is ensuring compliant HCP engagement, operational excellence, and accurate reporting in accordance with company policies and global regulatory requirements. The role spans team leadership and development, education program execution, HCP contracting and compliance, vendor and budget management, and analytics and reporting. The Supervisor is responsible for building a high-performing, compliance-minded team that can scale with the growth of the professional education function.
ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & People Management- Lead, manage, and develop the Professional Education Coordinators and Grants Coordinator, including coaching, workload allocation, goal setting, and performance management.
- Build team capability and foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and compliance across the professional education function.
- Serve as a trusted operational partner to the Head of Professional Education, providing visibility into team performance, program status, and emerging risks.
HCP Engagement & Compliance- Manage the Global HCP Nomination process, assessing business needs and vetting nominations for professional education activities.
- Assign hourly rates and issue HCP contracts in alignment with Fair Market Value (FMV) processes and company-approved tools.
- Oversee HCP contracting, credentialing, contract amendments, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial Marketing, and Corporate Training teams to ensure compliant HCP engagement in accordance with established guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely Sunshine Act data collection and reporting.
Professional Education Programs- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to plan and execute peer-to-peer education programs, including:
- In-person programs at society meetings and tradeshows
- Virtual and hybrid webinars
- Manage non-CME sponsorships and product support or contribution requests.
- Oversee the execution of the CSI Grants Program.
- Coordinate residency training programs and other educational collaborations.
Professional Education Tools & Assets- Oversee the procurement, deployment, and utilization of simulation trainers and other educational tools.
- Coordinate logistics, tracking, and inventory management for all professional education training assets.
Budget & Financial Management- Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and ongoing budget tracking for professional education programs.
- Manage invoice processing and Purchase Order (PO) creation using D365 and other financial systems.
Reporting & Analytics- Deliver data analytics related to professional education programs, including stakeholder and learner engagement metrics.
- Deploy Qualtrics surveys to capture customer feedback and educational insights.
- Analyze results and present actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders to support continuous program improvement.
Relationship & Vendor Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for key external vendors (e.g., Conexiant, Chamberlain, Surgical Modeling Solutions, Deloitte).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and third-party vendors, ensuring performance meets contractual expectations and program objectives.
Additional Responsibilities- Manage customer visits to the CSI campuses including scheduling and on-site coordination.
- Support additional professional education initiatives as required.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of progressive experience in professional education, medical education operations, medical affairs operations, or healthcare marketing
- 2+ years of direct people-management experience, including coaching and developing team members
- Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or biopharma
- Strong working knowledge of HCP compliance, Fair Market Value (FMV), Sunshine Act / Open Payments reporting, and HCP contracting processes
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
Preferred- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) or project management certification (e.g., PMP)
- Familiarity with global education programs and international HCP compliance frameworks (e.g., AdvaMed Code, MedTech Europe)
- Experience using D365, Qualtrics, or comparable enterprise systems
- Experience supporting grants programs, CME/non-CME sponsorships, or medical society partnerships

The good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $72,412 to 103,446. The actual amount offered is determined by a number of factors including but not limited to location, skills and experience.
