Full Job Description
The Supervisor Environmental Programs is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of environmental professionals to design and implement programs that ensure regulatory compliance and build an environmental learning culture. This role will monitor evolving regulatory requirements and continuously improve programs to manage operational and environmental risks, supporting safe and sustainable business practices. This role will oversee enterprise-level reporting for environmental programs, both internally and externally, and will be skilled in program development, compliance oversight, and fostering a strong safety culture. Responsibilities/Expectations: • Monitor and analyze performance metrics for environmental programs, and workforce enterprise performance. • Drives implementation of environmental programs and reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and business needs. • Define, communicate, and report environmental processes and metrics to leadership. • Oversee training for business operations on environmental programs, processes, and procedures. • Collaborate with field environmental leaders to understand operational needs and facilitate technical decision-making, support resolution of environmental compliance risk and drive continuous improvement. • Coordinate workforce planning, career development, and supports expense planning and forecasting through data analysis. • Other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: • Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental, or a science based field; a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the natural gas industry and with environmental compliance and reporting and emissions control • Preferred: A minimum of five (5) years of experiencing leading a team of professionals Other Requirements: • Understanding of environmental management systems and compliance assurance requirements • Familiar with unit operations across the range of enterprise assets • Understanding of environmental management systems and compliance assurance requirements • Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations • Preferred: Understanding of regulatory rulemaking process • Preferred: Experience in facility design and operations • Preferred: Environmental compliance reporting and regulatory rule making process experience • Preferred: Leadership experience #LI-GC1 About Tulsa: Our corporate headquarters is located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 2nd largest city in Oklahoma and the 47th most populous in the U.S. Tulsa is known as the Mother of "The Mother Road" - Route 66, and boasts impressive art deco architecture, the #1 city park in the U.S. (The Gathering Place) and is a great venue for live music.
