Full Job Description
Position Description:
This position can be located in any of the following ONE Gas metro locations: Overland Park, Austin, Oklahoma City, or Tulsa. This posting will close on the morning of July 24th.

What You Will Do


Oversee employees who develop and implement the Damage Prevention programs for ONE Gas.
Oversee the development and execution of Damage Prevention programs throughout the assigned area.
Monitor federal, state, and company requirements for compliance and standardized across the organization for the Damage Prevention programs.
Recommend changes to company processes and procedures based on those requirements.
Review and approve publications related to the Damage Prevention programs used within and outside the organization
Work with Corporate Communications in developing and reviewing Public Service Announcements, publications, radio, and television advertisements.
Collaborate with different corporate departments and several third parties to enhance Damage Prevention programs.
Collaborate with state-level personnel on responses to Underground Damage Prevention notifications received by state regulatory agencies.
Consult on damage events with stakeholders(local operations, claims, state commission, and third parties) to determine root cause analysis and lessons learned.
Review and provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of programs and studies to ensure they are meeting requirements and API 1162 recommended practices.
Review data for applicable program(s) to develop Damage Prevention programs.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Need
Preferred Bachelor's Degree Engineering or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:
Demonstrated experience in different phases of distribution and transmission field and administrative responsibilities.
Knowledge of piping and construction standards and design, applicable operations standards, and corrosion control and odorization processes.
Application of math and algebraic formulas and statistics.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
Experience and training with interpersonal and communication skills including leading presentations within industry and community groups.
Ability to identify, research, evaluate, and prioritize issues and/or specific situations and coordinating appropriate action/response.
Experience researching and preparing policies, procedures, responses, and recommendations regarding state, federal, and company requirements.
Experience reading and interpreting DOT regulations, Parts 191 and 192; Pipeline Safety Rules; Customer Service Field Manual; and various other technical documents relative to governmental rules and regulations.
Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively.
Experience with leading groups of people toward common objectives.
Experience developing information and making presentations to groups and individuals.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver's license.
Requires travel to other company offices and facilities and to job sites.
Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around job sites out-of-doors.
Ability to communicate and exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
