Full Job Description
Supervisor Community Health at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts. Responsible for the overall implementation of the Wilmington LSN program. Primary responsibilities are to ensure that the Scope of Work objectives, activities and deliverables are achieved. Responsible for capacity building and leadership development efforts within the Best Start Wilmington partnership. Facilitates meetings, acts as a liaison, and respond to the Best Start Wilmington Partnership, Leadership Group, Regional Support Network, community partners, and other stakeholders. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree • 3 years supervisory experience • Experience cultivating relationships with civic leaders, business community, faith based representatives, and convening community stakeholders • Extensive experience with community-driven, grassroots initiatives requiring intensive collaboration and partnership • Experience facilitating community meetings, resident councils or parent committees • Experience managing resident capacity building or leadership development training • Experience or familiarity working in the community of Wilmington or a similar community • Experience or familiarity with First 5 LA community-based projects • Experience in contract compliance and reporting • Demonstrated experience using strategic thinking and analytical skills to translate concepts and ideas into innovative, tangible and actionable strategies and actions • Driving may be necessary as part of this role; caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving and will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree • Experience implementing and managing community projects Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
