Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the BUSINESS & FINANCIAL MGMT-PAC 80R10 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

Help

  • You will serve as principle business and financial advisor to the respective Division and Department Heads supported by this BFM Division.
  • You will manage, coach, mentor, supervise and technically lead a team of 1.2 competency financial personnel in a Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) environment.
  • You will participate in business and financial reviews that measure performance against plans, objectives, resources and expenditures and make recommendations based on analysis and evaluations of financial data.
  • You will assess the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the organization and implements business and financial policies and procedures in the development, coordination, and management of Sponsor and Center data calls.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leads and coaches a workforce in running and analyzing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) and other financial data to monitor and ensure financial resources are used in accordance with budgetary authority, through all the acquisition life cycle phases; and reviews performance against plans, objectives, resources and expenditures; and makes recommendations based on analysis and evaluations of financial data.

This position is in the Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Human Resource Management System pay band for Department of Defense laboratories.

The pay schedule for all Supervisor Positions will be NM-2/3/4/5/6.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
