The Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor is a licensed pharmacist who, in coordination with the Pharmacy Manager, is responsible for overseeing the daily workflow, staffing, orientation, training, and developing of caregivers. The Pharmacy Supervisor promotes and supports a collaborative team approach in providing care and is responsible for ensuring the safe and appropriate use of medications and department operations that meet all regulatory compliance requirements. Fulfillment of this responsibility is achieved through the provision of pharmaceutical care services whose components include drug information, drug distribution, and clinical pharmacy services with knowledge of age-specific criteria from neonates through geriatrics (where applicable). The Pharmacy Supervisor supports/manages pharmacy technologies and systems within the department in collaboration with informatics and medication safety.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Texas Pharmacist Registered upon hire
  • 2 years of applicable pharmacy practice experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PharmD in Pharmacy
  • 1 year of leadership experience

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
