- Provide direct, hands-on patient care, ensuring safe, high-quality treatment while leading by example.
- Coordinate daily clinical operations, helping the unit run smoothly and efficiently.
- Support and guide clinical staff, holding team members accountable to the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- Interpret and communicate policies and procedures clearly to staff, patients, and families.
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and safety, promoting a positive and respectful work environment for all.

Education Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree degree from an accredited college or university in nursing Required
Experience Qualifications- Minimum 2 years nursing experience including one year experience in pediatric nursing Required and
- Previous supervisory or lead experience Preferred
Skills and Abilities- Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills.
Licenses and Certifications- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current and valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license Upon Hire Required and
- BLS - Basic Life Support Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required and
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Current and valid certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 180 Days Required and
- ACLS Current and valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required (ED and CCU only) within 180 Days Required and
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Current and valid certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) required (NICU only). Upon Hire Required
