Job DescriptionThe Clinical Supervisor RN coordinates and manages the clinical support staff and the clinical workflows and activities within the clinic. This position functions as an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing the professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding the standards of nursing practice. Oversees the care provided by clinical support staff and initiates efforts to improve the quality and skill levels of the clinical staff members. Leads clinical staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in an efficient, safe, and timely manner that is sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological and spiritual needs. Works directly with physicians regarding their practice related to the nursing department. Ensures compliance with established clinic policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years Direct patient care experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
- Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel, preferably within the ambulatory setting.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Upon hire: Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Previous charge/lead nurse experience
