Full Job Description
The Supervisor, Accounting & Treasury is responsible for leading and supervising the accounting and treasury functions of the Residential division. The position will oversee the bank reconciliation process, manage the treasury operations, and ensure the smooth operation of utility accounting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills, a focus on process improvement, and the ability to collaborate with multiple internal teams.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash management, banking activities, cash flow forecasting, and payment processing (EFTs and wires) across Canadian and US operations.
  • Manage bank reconciliation processes, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly while maintaining accurate cash and general ledger balances.
  • Lead utility accounting operations, including billing, payments, accruals, rate changes, expense analysis, and customer service escalations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, utility providers, banks, and auditors to support effective treasury and utility accounting functions.
  • Provide leadership, training, and development to team members while promoting cross-functional knowledge sharing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline accounting and treasury processes.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses for leadership and support other duties as required.


WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
