Titre du poste : Superviseur aux opérations - Quart de jour

Le superviseur est responsable de la gestion d'une équipe d'employés syndiqués multidisciplinaire, sur un quart de travail de jour (lundi au vendredi de 6h30 à 15h00 - sur site) au Centre Qualité et Logistique de l'usine 1 à Longueuil. Travaillant sous la direction d'un directeur des opérations, il est responsable de toutes les tâches reliées à la gestion des employés, à la coordination d'activités, ainsi que d'assurer le suivi des priorités en lien avec l'inspection à la réception des pièces achetées et la revue de la qualité des pièces non conformes. Il est aussi la personne ressource des clients internes et externes et le point de contact pour les employés et l'équipe de direction.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?
  • Superviser les opérations quotidiennes sur le quart de jour du Centre Qualité et Logistique;
  • Veiller à l'atteinte des principaux indicateurs : ESS, qualité, livraison à temps, productivité, etc.;
  • S'occuper de la gestion d'employés syndiqués selon la convention collective
  • Prévenir les incidents de santé et sécurité et d'échappés qualités en faisant usage des bonnes pratiques, méthodes et comportements appropriés (Inspections mensuelles, audits plancher, enquête quasi incident, rapport d'accident, RCCA);
  • Gérer la productivité des employés tout en rencontrant les priorités et les objectifs opérationnels;
  • Participer activement à l'implantation d'initiatives/projets pour l'amélioration continue de l'organisation;
  • Créer un plan de gestion du surtemps en fonction des besoins opérationnels;
  • Établir les horaires de travail et balancer les quarts de travail ainsi que la gestion des vacances;
  • Gérer les changements organisationnels et assurer la flexibilité des employés;
  • Rédiger les évaluations annuelles et en assurer la communication auprès des employés;


Le poste s'effectue à notre établissement de Longueuildu lundi au vendredi et exclusivement en présentiel.

Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?

Ce poste s'inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une connaissance fonctionnelle de l'anglais pour lire et comprendre des instructions spécialisées, des plans, des dessins et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et parfois communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job title : Operations supervisor - Day shift

The supervisor is responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of unionized employees during a day shift (Monday to Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - on site) at the Quality and Logistics Center of Plant 1 in Longueuil. Reporting to the Director of Operations, he is responsible for all tasks related to employee management, activity coordination, and ensuring the follow-up of priorities related to the inspection of purchased parts upon receipt and the review of non-conforming parts. He also serves as the resource person for internal and external clients and as the point of contact for employees and the management team.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Supervise daily operations on the day shift at the Quality and Logistics Center;
  • Ensure the achievement of key performance indicators: ESS, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, etc.;
  • Manage unionized employees in accordance with the collective agreement;
  • Prevent health, safety, and quality incidents by applying proper practices, methods, and behaviors (monthly inspections, floor audits, near-miss investigations, accident reports, RCCA);
  • Manage employee productivity while meeting operational priorities and objectives;
  • Actively participate in the implementation of initiatives/projects for continuous organizational improvement;
  • Develop an overtime management plan based on operational needs;
  • Establish work schedules, balance shifts, and manage vacation planning;
  • Manage organizational changes and ensure employee flexibility;
  • Prepare annual performance evaluations and communicate them to employees.

  • DEC diploma with 3 to 7 years of experience, or a combination of education and demonstrated supervisory experience;
  • SAP knowledge (an asset).


Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
