About the Opportunity
We are looking for an Instrumentation & Electrical Superintendent to lead the IE team. This role is key to maximizing the value of our operations and leading the safety culture.
This role is a great opportunity for a self-motivated leader to learn and develop their career while focusing on safe operations and execution to improve the team's performance. Reporting to the Refinery Services Manager, you will be:
Leading and developing a team of front-line supervisors and a crew of 40 craftspeople
Identifying and acting on opportunities to increase value generation
Interacting with our technical specialists to bring additional expertise to bear when required and to drive operational performance
Building and maintaining an effective and safety-first culture.
Coaching people and providing development opportunities that enable high performance
Taking ownership of efficient/effective problem-solving, decision-making, and action at the right levels
Instilling a culture of employee ownership in facility care and operation
What you’ll bring:
A combination of both technical skills and experience will be genuinely considered
A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or a related field
Supervision/Operations experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, and mining environments
Leadership experience in a fast-paced and exciting environment
Ability to work in multi-functional and multi-disciplinary teams
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage the team.
