About the Role:The Superintendent - Multi-Family plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the successful execution of retail construction projects across multiple locations within the United States. This position is responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project workflows and resolve any issues that arise during construction. Traveling to various retail sites is essential to provide hands-on supervision and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders. Ultimately, this role ensures that retail construction projects meet client expectations and comply with all regulatory and company standards.
Minimum Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent, preferably in retail or commercial construction.
- Proven track record of managing multiple construction sites simultaneously with successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:- Certification such as OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety and Health or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
- Experience with retail tenant improvement projects and familiarity with retail construction standards.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or similar platforms.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
