Superintendent, you are the backbone of our construction site operations for high-stakes projects supporting our client project delivery. You will work with a project team managing subcontractor performance to help deliver energy efficient upgrades and sophisticated commissioning of
MEP systems. We are looking for leaders who thrive on proactive problem-solving and want to see their projects reach peak performance.
A Day in the Life- On-Site Leadership: Direct daily operations for MEP/HVAC retrofit projects, supervising subcontractors and craft workers.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for facility staff, leading update meetings and navigating sensitive site issues.
- Project Controls: Maintain detailed schedules (P6/MS Project), manage budgets, and oversee procurement using software tools and spreadsheets.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce OSHA standards (zero-accident goal) and conduct rigorous technical inspections (including electrical/mechanical testing).
- Project Closeout: Drive efficient closeouts, managing punch lists and ensuring all work exceeds client expectations.
Who You Are- Experienced Leader: You bring at least 5 years of mechanical/electrical construction experience, with a deep understanding of mission-critical systems (mechanical HVAC, chillers, automated controls, electrical, plumbing)
- Tech-Savvy: You are computer savvy and proficient with Procore and other digital project management tools.
- Action-Oriented: You are a motivated self-starter who enjoys the challenge of coordinating complex MEP activities and seeing them through to completion.
- Ready for Impact: You are willing to be on-site in Schenectady, NY. Applicants must have the ability to achieve a government security badge to work at our prestigious client location.
- Flexible: This role will require some evening and weekend shift work.

Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentPerformance of the job responsibilities will require the ability to (1) use tools and operate equipment in the field, (2) ascend/descend both exterior and interior ladders/stairs, and (3) move safely around an area under construction. The employee must also be able to easily communicate with clients, stakeholders, and other employees and observe various pieces of equipment in the field. The employee must occasionally move and/or transport up to 75 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works at the construction work site where the employee is at risk of moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud. Personal protection equipment and required safety training will be provided by the employer.
