Lake County School BoardMinimum Training and Experience - Education: Master's degree or higher required, from an accredited institution
- Certificate/License: Educational Leadership
- District-Level Administrative Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible district-level administrative experience in a Florida public school district, including at least five (5) years in a district-based administrative or policymaking position with broad authority for management policies and general district operations. Qualifying experience includes service as a Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, Associate Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Director of a major instructional or noninstructional functional area that reports directly to the Superintendent and supervises other administrative personnel, consistent with Section 1012.01(3)(a) and (b), Florida Statutes.
- Demonstrated record of advancing student achievement and academic performance through consistent, measurable annual growth in student learning, as reflected in state accountability ratings and state progress monitoring data.
Standard Application and Required Documents - Letter of Intent: A tailored cover letter addressed to the School Board highlighting your educational philosophy and why you fit the district's goals. No more than three (3) pages.
- Resume: No more than two (2) pages.
- Letters of Recommendation: No more than three (3) signed letters.
