Superintendent - Commercial ConstructionSalary: Starting at $115,000+ (DOE) + Benefits & Perks
Key Responsibilities:- Lead all on-site construction activities while upholding HC Company's standards of quality and integrity
- Supervise daily field operations, subcontractors, and labor to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance
- Ensure superior QA/QC by verifying all installations and materials meet project specifications
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, communicating progress with all stakeholders
- Oversee site planning, layout, staging, and phasing for maximum efficiency
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting training and site audits
- Coordinate material deliveries, subcontractor activities, and owner-supplied equipment to prevent delays
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, PCOs, and as-built drawings
- Conduct site meetings and collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure smooth execution
- Actively contribute to the Safety Committee and help refine companywide safety processes
What We're Looking For:- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of ADA accessibility, jurisdictional compliance, and construction best practices
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
- Proven experience in site layout, trade coordination, and construction technology
