Job: Field Superintendent
Location: Nationwide (Travel Required)
Lead Field Operations. Drive Safety. Deliver Excellence.This role is perfect for a hands-on, organized, and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment. You'll manage specific trades or scopes of work, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain top-tier safety and quality standards on the jobsite. On smaller projects, you may take full project oversight, assuming responsibilities aligned with a Project Superintendent role.
What You'll Do- Plan and coordinate construction activities, logistics, and field personnel.
- Communicate with contractors and project team members regarding ASIs, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Ensure subcontractors fully execute their contracted scope and comply with safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Manage quality control efforts for materials and work in place.
- Coordinate and track required inspections with local jurisdictions and special inspectors.
- Proactively identify and resolve conflicts related to schedule, design, quality, and safety.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and photo records of jobsite progress.
- Develop look-ahead schedules (minimum 3-week) and distribute to relevant parties.
- Conduct Daily Huddle and weekly Coordination meetings.
- Travel to and from job sites as needed to support field operations.
- Operating a motor vehicle on behalf of the company as an essential function of the role.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- OSHA-30 certification required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools: pull-planning, Microsoft Project, and short-term look-ahead schedules.
- Basic understanding of construction quality control (CQC) standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
- Ability to respond constructively to feedback and maintain effective working relationships on-site.
Physical Requirements - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs at times.
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, and stairs.
Travel - Full-time travel to job sites across the U.S., with the ability to be home every other weekend.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
