Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, education, corporate office, and advanced technology sectors.
• Excellent listening and communication skills to effectively convey information and foster teamwork.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as project management and scheduling software like Prolog and Primavera.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic with a positive 'can-do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor assistant superintendents, promoting their professional growth.
• Create and update construction schedules while monitoring project dependencies and impacts.
• Coordinate jobsite logistics and maintain proactive relationships with neighboring occupants.
• Negotiate with authorities to ensure timely project occupancy milestones are met.
• Lead and promote a safety-first culture within the construction environment.
• Manage subcontractor work scopes and coordination alongside DPR's self-perform crews.
• Serve as the primary interface with owners and design teams, professionally representing DPR field operations.
