Subrogation & Recovery - Department Attorney

Cozen O'Connor is seeking a department attorney for our Subrogation & Recovery Department to join our dynamic team in San Diego. Come work at an AmLaw 100 firm without the pressure of billable hours! Responsibilities include managing and evaluating large property claims including coordinating the investigation, retention of experts, identifying potential theories of liability, and client reporting. The role is primarily to determine whether large property losses are legally viable to pursue against third parties by identifying claims with an appropriate factual and legal basis for pursuit of recovery for our clients. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience handling property insurance claims, construction claims, commercial litigation, or subrogation claims. Excellent interpersonal, research and writing skills, and a license in good standing in CA required.

The salary range for this role is $125,000-$135,000 and represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
