Position: EP Charge Lab RN
Patient Population: Adult Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Vascular patients
Status:Full Time DaysShift:4/10 Hour Days
Call Requirements: One day a week and one weekend every six weeks. Must be within 30min call radius.
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of EP experience AND 1 year of Charge experience
Patient Ratios:Cath/RP teamcomprisedof RN's and Rad Techs working in 3-4 person teams to manage procedural patient care, collaborating with the proceduralist and anesthesia providers.
Number of Beds:5 total invasive cardiology labs, including 2 electrophysiology labs.

Job Summary
The Catheter Lab RN Charge manages patient care delivery. This includes supervising, evaluating, and customizing care plans. The Charge Nurse is accountable for patient care. The nurse ensures safety, delegates tasks, and accepts responsibilities willingly.

Qualifications
3Successful completion of an accredited nursing education program.7
3Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of EP experience AND 1 year of Charge experience7
3A Registered Nurse (RN)7
3Must also have certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). If not certified yet, acquire these within (30) thirty days of employment.7
