THE WORK
As the Lead Subcontract Program Manager, you'll serve as the Supply Chain lead for the Seahawk PBL capture effort and execution, guiding a team of Subcontract Program Managers and Administrators through every phase of the subcontract lifecycle. You'll partner closely with Capture, Program Management, Engineering, Pricing, and key stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance, and ensure successful contract execution.
In this role, you will:
Lead the Supply Chain strategy for a major capture effort supporting the Seahawk PBL contract renewal.
Manage and mentor a team of Subcontract Program Managers and Subcontract Administrators.
Develop and execute subcontract management strategies from capture planning through program execution.
Lead supplier source selections, Requests for Proposal (RFPs), proposal evaluations, negotiations, subcontract awards, and definitization.
Serve as the primary interface between Program Management, Capture, Engineering, Pricing, Compliance, Obsolescence Management, and suppliers.
Develop subcontract Statements of Work (SOWs), specifications, and ensure proper prime contract flow-down requirements.
Support Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) proposal submissions, required disclosures, negotiations, and contract award activities.
Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, scope, and contractual requirements.
Manage supplier Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), and supplier risk mitigation activities.
Lead cross-functional Subcontract Management Teams (SMTs) to ensure cost, schedule, quality, and performance objectives are achieved.
Establish supplier communication strategies, conduct risk assessments, and support supplier onboarding and program kickoff.
Drive supplier performance throughout execution to ensure contractual commitments and program objectives are met.
WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced supply chain or subcontract management professional who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments. You're comfortable leading capture efforts, negotiating with suppliers, managing risk, and driving teams toward successful program outcomes. You combine strategic thinking with strong execution skills and enjoy building partnerships across internal teams and external suppliers.
Basic Qualifications
Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
8+ years of relevant experience
Previous subcontract experience
Broad knowledge of FAR/DFAR
Desired skills
Experience with EVMS
CAM certification
BOE writing
FAR 15 and FAR 12 supplier proposals
Sustainment Program experience
Previous LM Supply Chain experience
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
