Job DescriptionYou will be the Subcontract Management Staff for the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Program team. Our team is responsible for overseeing procurement, contract administration, supplier performance, and cost control to ensure mission success.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Subcontract Management Staff you will be responsible for managing key procurement processes from proposal through contract set-up, ensuring terms and conditions are met, and driving supplier performance and cost management.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and issue solicitations and evaluate proposals.
- Negotiate and establish contracts, including terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance.
- Manage cost tracking and control throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with program objectives.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR
• Working knowledge of standard contract types
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail and teamwork oriented with demonstrated organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business based decisions
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired skills• Experience managing complex subcontracts
• Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense industry
• Experience with LM Procure to Pay (P2P) and SC Navigator
Ability to work remotelyPart-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $109,200 - $189,290. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
