You will be the Subcontract Management Sr for the Subcontract Management Team. Our team is responsible for overseeing subcontract performance, cost, schedule, and technical compliance.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Management Sr you will be responsible for steering cost, schedule, and technical performance of a high-risk subcontract while leading a cross-functional subcontract-management crew.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Steward cost, schedule, and technical performance of the subcontract.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional subcontract-management team.
  • Author solicitation packages, work statements, and negotiate supplier agreements.
  • Develop and execute sustainment and warranty strategies to ensure long-term product reliability.
  • Manage change, evaluate proposals, and deliver award packages throughout the subcontract lifecycle.


MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (minimum requirements)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply-Chain Management, or a closely related discipline
  • Relevant Experience: 63 3 years of subcontract or procurement experience on high-complexity, high-risk aerospace/defense programs; 62 2 years leading cross-functional teams.
  • Procurement Authority: Proven ability to hold delegation authority and sign supplier agreements/POs within defined limits.
  • Lifecycle Knowledge: Hands-on experience with the full subcontract lifecycle - solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, and change-order management.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with sustainment and warranty strategy creation, and specialized material/equipment procurement.
  • Analytical Ability: Skill in preparing bid packages, defining evaluation criteria, and conducting cost/technical proposal analysis.
  • Communication: Strong written and oral communication; able to draft precise specifications, work statements, and contract terms.
  • Compliance/ Ethics: Knowledge of FAR/DFAR, aerospace/defense regulations, and a track record of ethical procurement practices.
  • Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government Secret (or higher) clearance.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
