Hybrid - Niagara Falls, NY

Our Space division in Niagara Falls, NY is looking for a Subcontract Administrator to join our dynamic team! This Subcontract Administrator will be responsible for end-to-end management of assigned suppliers within our Space Division, driving supplier performance, driving effective/collaborative supplier relationships, support and supporting production needs. You will report to the Process Manager and enjoy a collaborative work environment with a flexible, hybrid schedule.

As our Subcontract Admin, you will make critical contributions by holding responsibility for:
  • Responsible for end-to-end surveillance, monitoring, managing and development of excellent supplier relationships to achieve business requirements.
  • Daily/weekly supplier management and conversion of demand signals into Compliant Purchase Orders, in accordance with contractual terms and conditions and in alignment with Moog systems and processes.
  • Responsible for coordination between Functional Areas Operations (Manufacturing, A&T, Planning) teams for alignment on buffer strategies, forecast validations and procurement methods.
  • Evaluation of supplier performance including the identification and mitigation of risks, driving problem-solving activities to resolve supplier performance issues and leads supplier recovery and improvement activity.
  • Drives cross-functional root cause investigations and corrective actions to achieve continuous supplier improvement.
  • Provides input, supports and leads supplier selection, negotiation and supplier development activities.
  • Operate with urgency and be proactive when it comes to operational issues and ensure continuity of supply from assigned suppliers.
  • Collaborate and effectively influence multiple functions, geographic regions, and cultures; to achieve global end-to-end supply chain performance requirements. This requires working with teams located in different time zones and being flexible with working hours, as required.
  • Required to effectively communicate both internally and externally with customers and suppliers.
  • Approximately 20% travel may be required to visit Moog sites or suppliers.


To be considered for the Subcontract Admin role, you will need to bring with you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience in managing and developing supplier/customer relationships and procurement processes.
  • Experience with performing Lean/Six Sigma problem-solving analysis.
  • Strong knowledge around FAR/DFARS
  • This position requires a full physical which includes bloodwork and Pulmonary Function testing

Salary Range Transparency:
Niagara Falls, NY $80,000.00-$110,000.00 Annually
