Full Job Description
Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Studio Data Ops Specialist to support the tools, data, and processes that power our global Studio Operations. As part of the Studio Strategy & Operations team, this role serves the operational needs of Studio teams across Production, Post, Development, Finance, and more - troubleshooting user issues, training teams on operational tools, and maintaining data integrity across the many workflows that keep the studio running. You will work at the intersection of business process, product enablement, and hands-on user support to help ensure our studio workflows are reliable, intuitive, and easy to adopt.
Key job responsibilities
• Serve as a first point of contact for user issues from Studio teams (Production, Post, Development, Finance, and others), troubleshooting problems and driving them to resolution.
• Build and deliver training, guides, and SOPs to accelerate adoption and confident use of operational tools.
• Maintain data fidelity by developing a working understanding of the business logic used throughout Amazon MGM Studios.
• Surface user pain points and best practices to inform improvements to new and existing tools.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate troubleshooting, documentation, and everyday operational work.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Can show strong verbal and written communication skills
- 2+ years of experience in a client-facing, operations, product/program management, or technology role.
- Experience troubleshooting user or data issues and supporting business workflows through tools or process improvements.
- Experience creating documentation, training materials, or delivering user training.
- Familiarity with Airtable or other low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Smartsheet, Asana).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages
- Knowledge of content production or broader studio operations processes.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code, Kiro, or similar agentic/LLM-based tools.
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
