Full Job Description
If you have a keen eye for the big picture, excellent production skills, and enjoy working collaboratively, we may have the perfect role for you! The Production Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating production activities, as well as managing and mentoring production staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.
  • Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement production schedules and plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of production staff.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Prepare and present production reports and metrics to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Associate's degree in a related field of study.
  • 5+ years in a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 7 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
  • Experience with corrective action planning.
  • Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of manufacturing principles.


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Training certification.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study.


Essential Functions:
  • Perform assembly tasks, including the ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Operate and maintain assembly tools and equipment, requiring hand/finger dexterity.
  • Stand for extended periods during the work shift.
  • Work in potentially hazardous or loud environments, following safety protocols.
  • Ability to travel may be required.
  • For office roles, capability to work in an office or hybrid environment.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
