The expected salary range for this position is $160,000 – $220,000 depending upon experience.

Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Structural Superintendent to join our Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) project in Honolulu, HI

DESCRIPTION:

As a Structural Superintendent at Tutor Perini Corp., reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Supervise construction effort on elevated guideway structures to ensure project is constructed safely in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

  • Assume responsibility for planning, coordinating and supervising onsite functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination, etc.).

  • Assume responsibility for compliance of craft workers and subcontractors with contract requirements, efficient use of materials & equipment, site safety plan and timely performance of the project schedule.

  • Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.

  • Assist project management in developing, project schedule, site logistics plan and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.

  • Support Site Specific Safety Plan.

  • Coordinate with on-site Owner employees.

  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15 or more years of construction experience

  • Highschool diploma or GED preferred but not required.

  • 10 or more years’ experience as a superintendent on heavy civil projects overseeing construction of concrete structures

  • Experience as a superintendent on projects valued over $500M

  • Knowledge, skills and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.

  • Experience with City, State, and or Federal Government Clients preferred

  • Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft

  • Experienced in MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy bid or similar software

  • OSHA 500, certification, CPR & First Aid Certs

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
