Your Impact- Deliver structural analysis and design for of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pumping stations, underground liquid-retaining structures, chambers, solid waste facilities, and other municipal infrastructure.
- Develop structural models, engineering calculations, and design solutions for complex facility systems and components
- Translate engineering concepts into clear design markups and coordinate closely with BIM and drafting teams
- Support construction-phase activities including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and on-site technical problem-solving
- Contribute to site assessments, inspections, and rehabilitation strategies for existing infrastructure
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, client-focused engineering solutions
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, proposals, and cost estimates that drive project success
- Grow your expertise while mentoring junior team members and taking on increasing responsibility
The Skills That Set You Apart- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; Master's in Structural Engineering is an asset
- 6-10 years of structural engineering experience, ideally in water, wastewater, solid waste, or municipal infrastructure facilities in Ontario or across Canada.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration in Canada (PEO preferred); PMP is an asset
- Strong knowledge of OBC, NBCC, CSA A23.3, CSA A23.1/.2, and ACI 350 design standards
- Experience with structural analysis tools such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, S-Frame, or similar
- Familiarity with Revit, ACC, and BIM coordination workflows
- Strong technical communication skills with the ability to produce clear engineering documentation
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to attend site visits and inspections as required
CompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 - $130,800
MB & ON: $90,100 - $124,100
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $89,200 - $118,500
