Introduction

RETTEW is seeking a mid- to senior-level Structural Engineer/Project Manager to lead structural projects from concept through delivery. This role combines technical expertise with project leadership-balancing structural design excellence with budget, schedule, and client management responsibilities. Depending on your strengths, you may bridge both technical and managerial aspects.

Important: Candidates must have a transportation engineering background. While project management experience is required, this role is intended for professionals with technical expertise in transportation engineering and design.

Work Environment: Hybrid work model with flexibility and in-office collaboration.

RETTEW Locations: Berwyn, Lancaster, Lehigh Valley (R1); Mechanicsburg, State College (R2); Akron/Canton, Morgantown, Pittsburgh (R3)

What You'll Do

As a Structural Engineer / Project Manager, you'll oversee transportation-focused structural projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development.

Preferred
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in PA (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience leading multi-discipline project teams.
