Full Job Description
We are currently accepting applications for an Structural Engineer at an Associate level to join our team in Denver, CO. Our expected starting annual salary range is $100,000 -$125,000, plus discretionary bonuses. This role is on a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office each week, local and regional travel to sites as needed, and work from home.

Position Description
  • Act as technical team member and small project lead for our clients' commercial structures - Our work covers most commercial building types, including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and hotel/hospitality.
  • Collaborate with the client, internal team, consultants, and site contact, and is responsible for an overall understanding of their project(s)
  • Review and assess existing building construction and condition
  • Review and analyze contract documents including calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Perform seismic risk and property condition assessments
  • Prepare and present detailed formal reports


Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering, civil engineering, or structural engineering, Licensed as a professional engineer, ideally with SE credential
  • Seven to twelve (7-12) years of industry-related experience at a structural engineering consulting firm
  • Technical level of understanding of building types, building codes, and seismic lateral force-resisting systems in order to perform services of the organization with limited supervision
  • Understanding of hazardous building types/features and site seismic hazards
  • Good understanding of Construction processes and activities
  • Good understanding of building materials and methods
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, Plan Grid, MS Suite and Box
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management successes
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner, remain organized, and multitask
  • Decision-making and problem-solving experience in a technical role
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PlanGrid and Box


Physical Requirements
  • Candidates should have the ability to:
  • Operate a computer (keyboarding) and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copier/scanner/printer
  • Use visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens
  • Move through construction and existing building sites over rough terrain
  • See and respond to dangerous situations
  • Respond quickly to sounds
  • Ascend and descend ladders and stairs
  • Move safely through confined spaces and narrow paths
  • Work in outdoor weather conditions or unconditioned areas
  • Travel approximately 25-50% of the time both locally and regionally
