JOB DUTIES- Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
- Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI. Coordinate structural designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines
- Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support
- Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 0+ Years of experience (Engineer I) or 2-5+ Years of experience (Engineer II)
- Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design.
- EIT certification preferred
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience using the following software required: AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
- Experience with industry standards such as: ASCE 7, IBC, AISC and ACI
Salary Range:
Engineer Level 1- $75K - $80K
Engineer Level 2- $87K - $110K
