Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Experience ranging from 0 to 5+ years depending on the level (Engineer I or II)
• Design coursework or experience in structural steel and/or concrete
• EIT certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Proficiency with software like AutoCAD, RISA-3D, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Excel
• Familiarity with codes and standards such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed designs for various systems
• Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Apply applicable codes and standards and coordinate designs with multiple engineering disciplines
• Assist senior engineers on large facility projects
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction
• Provide occasional construction phase support with minimal field time required
