Outpatient CDI Physician Education Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in

Responsibilities- Establish review methodologies, provider education strategies, and success metrics.
- Work closely with physicians on change management initiatives.
- Distinguish compliant provider education from leading documentation and partner with legal and compliance stakeholders.
- Analyze RAF trends, recapture rates, and provider-level variation.
- Interpret audit findings and translate data into action plans.
QualificationsEducation and Experience- Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience Requirement: 5-7+ years in CDI, coding, or risk adjustment, 1-3+ years specifically in outpatient or ambulatory CDI
- Certifications/Licenses: Licensed clinical background (i.e., RHIA/RHIT, RN, MD/DO, NP, or PA), CCDS-O (Outpatient) preferred credential, CCDS, CDIP, or CRC accepted with strong outpatient experience
Skills and Competencies- Experience designing and scaling outpatient CDI programs.
- Demonstrate understanding of outpatient CDI workflows, including risk adjustment, chronic condition capture, and annual wellness visits.
- Understanding of CMS risk adjustment rules and audit defensibility, ability to distinguish complaint provider education from leading documentation
- Experience with ambulatory EHRs (Epic preferred).
Additional InformationAt Impact Advisors, we are committed to transparency and equity in our compensation practices. The compensation for this role includes a salary range of
$120,000-$220,000. For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Additional benefits and perks may also be available, depending on the position and employment terms.
