About the Role
As Strategy Lead, you'll define the strategies and principles that shape how visual and contextual cues guide member decision-making. You'll work at the intersection of research, creative production, and product design translating member experience principles into asset and evidence strategies.
What you’ll do
Developing asset and evidence strategies — synthesizing research, audits and insights into clear frameworks and principles that guide product and creative decisions
Defining quality standards — defining the quality standards and expectations for assets and evidence that are grounded in the production constraints and realities
Driving cross-functional influence — bridging the gap between experimental thinking and global production at scale by aligning product, operations, and merchandising stakeholders around core strategic principles
Creative translation — partnering with creative teams to translate strategies into prototypes, concepts and design systems
Required Skills & Experience
Systems-Level Thinking: Ability to "connect the dots" and identify broader implications of strategic choices and decisions across the member experience.
Strategic Frameworks:
Track record of translating experience principles into evidence and asset strategies for complex, multi-platform product experiences — from new content types to emerging member experiences.
Visual Communication:
Ability to visualize complex ideas (e.g., creating schematics in Figma or creating prototypes) to facilitate clarity and drive impact rather than relying on text or memos.
Creative Point of View:
A strong, well-developed aesthetic sensibility and understanding of what makes visual and multimedia assets effective. Able to articulate creative direction, evaluate creative quality, and partner credibly with creative teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence:
Strong collaboration skills across design, product, merchandising, and operations. Influences without authority by aligning diverse stakeholders and using a strong, articulate voice to challenge assumptions across all levels of
seniority.
AI Fluency:
Active practitioner who integrates a broad set of AI tools into their strategic and creative workflow.
How you work:
You operate with a high degree of autonomy and are comfortable navigating ambiguity. You can proactively calibrate your own priorities, identify what needs to move, and act without waiting to be directed. You don’t need a manager to tell you where the gaps are; you see them and fill them.
You hold and defend a point of view. You’re willing to challenge assumptions — including those held by more senior stakeholders — but you do it with conviction and evidence, not friction. People leave conversations with you feeling sharper, not defensive.
You know the difference between influence and control, and you’ve made peace with it. In this role, you won’t always own the final call. What you will own is the quality of the thinking, the clarity of the documentation, and the strength of the recommendation — and you understand that’s where durable impact lives.
Professional Themes:
We are seeking individuals with a proven ability to lead through systems thinking, visual storytelling, and cross-functional influence. While typically gained over 10+ years in strategy, content, or research roles, we prioritize candidates who demonstrate the ability to challenge assumptions and drive outcomes at scale.
Portfolio / Work Examples:
Demonstrated examples of strategic frameworks, research synthesis, and cross-functional influence — ideally in a product or creative context at scale.
Our Culture & What You’ll Bring

You will contribute to a culture of rigor, experimentation, and tight cross-functional collaboration.
