Full Job Description
The Strategy & Corporate Development Associate will support the company's growth and corporate development initiatives through strategic analysis, recommendations, and execution. The role will work closely with the Chief Growth Officer and senior leadership on market expansion, physician partnerships, payor strategy, and other high-impact initiatives. The Associate will own projects from analysis through recommendation and help drive execution of strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

De Novo Growth & Market Strategy
• Provide analytical support for UVVC's quarterly de novo growth reviews and multi-year strategic planning.
• Evaluate market prioritization frameworks incorporating payor attractiveness, disease prevalence, customer acquisition costs, competitive dynamics, physician supply, reimbursement, and market economics.
• Help manage UVVC's proprietary market intelligence and site-selection tools ,including the periodic refinement of the market selection model.
• Analyze existing market performance and identify opportunities to increase clinic capacity, patient volumes, referral capture, and revenue generation.
• Conduct clinic-level pro forma analysis to evaluate expected volumes, revenue, EBITDA, capital investment, and returns.
Acquisitions & Joint Ventures
• Manage UVVC's acquisition and joint venture pipeline across arterial OBLs, vein practices, and ambulatory surgery centers.
• Participate in discussions with prospective physician partners and develop trusted relationships with business owners.
• Build detailed acquisition and JV underwriting models, including revenue, EBITDA, physician compensation, capital requirements, synergies, transaction structure, and returns.
• Coordinate diligence across finance, operations, clinical, legal, HR, real estate, and other functional teams.
• Prepare investment committee, executive, Board, and investor materials.

Payor & Value-Based Care Strategy
• Analyze payor landscapes across UVVC's markets, including payor mix, covered lives, reimbursement, network participation, and competitive dynamics.
• Develop business cases supporting expansion of UVVC's payor network.
• Analyze opportunities with ACOs, CINs, primary care MSOs, Medicare Advantage organizations, and other referral partners.
• Support commercial presentations and partnership proposals for prospective payors and referral partners.
Executive Decision Support
• Prepare Board, investor, and executive presentations.
• Develop concise analyses and recommendations for the CGO, CFO, CEO, and senior leadership.
• Track strategic initiatives and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and required decisions.
• Conduct rapid-turn analyses on issues that directly impact the company's growth and capital allocation decisions.

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, strategy, private equity, transaction advisory, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment.
• Exceptional financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to produce executive-quality materials.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude to accelerate research, data processing, financial analysis, or other analytical workflows.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and operate effectively under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work with senior executives and external stakeholders.
• High level of intellectual curiosity, ownership, and attention to detail.
Healthcare services experience, particularly physician practice, ambulatory surgery, office-based labs, vascular, cardiology, radiology, or other outpatient specialties preferred.
• Experience conducting market-entry, growth strategy, or commercial projects preferred.
• Experience building operating models, valuation models, or investment cases preferred.
• Experience evaluating acquisitions, joint ventures, or other strategic investments preferred.
• Experience working directly with C-suite executives or Boards preferred.
