Full Job Description
Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Talent Advisor to help shape how Perficient X scales by influencing who we hire, how talent develops, and what organizational capabilities we build over time. This is a high-impact role for someone who can translate business ambition into talent strategy and ensure our operating model grows without losing what makes it distinctive.

As the Strategic Talent Advisor, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Perficient X leadership and a builder of the talent strategy, systems, and workforce decisions that shape how the business grows. You will work across leadership, hiring teams, pod leads, and enterprise HR to strengthen the full talent engine: attracting experienced AI practitioners, designing scalable early-career pathways, shaping development experiences that accelerate readiness, and advising on the organizational choices that enable a high-ambition business to scale with intention. This is a rare opportunity to help architect the talent model behind a new kind of consulting venture - and to ensure talent strategy is a source of competitive advantage, not simply operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Perficient X leaders to design and execute a talent strategy that supports growth, pod effectiveness, and long-term organizational capability
  • Lead recruiting strategies for both experienced AI practitioners and high-potential early-career talent, building proactive pipelines rather than relying on reactive hiring
  • Shape cohort onboarding and development experiences that prepare early-career talent to contribute quickly in client-facing pod environments
  • Advise leaders on workforce planning, team composition, performance, and readiness across both experienced and emerging talent populations
  • Use data and talent insights to monitor pipeline health, readiness, attrition risk, and the overall effectiveness of the pod talent model
  • Help strengthen Perficient X culture, employer brand, and retention by creating a compelling experience for both senior practitioners and early-career hires

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in HR, talent, or people leadership, ideally in a high-growth, technology, consulting, or AI-forward environment
  • Proven success recruiting senior technical talent through proactive sourcing and relationship-building
  • Experience with campus recruiting, early-career development, or cohort-based onboarding programs for technical talent
  • Ability to operate as a strategic business partner, influencing workforce planning, org design, and talent decisions at the leadership level
  • Strong analytical instincts and comfort using data to guide decisions, monitor talent health, and improve outcomes
  • Active fluency with AI tools and a clear point of view on how AI is reshaping technical and consulting work
  • Executive presence and the ability to build credibility with senior leaders, practitioners, and early-career talent alike

Perficient full-time employees receive complete and competitive benefits. We offer a collaborative work environment, competitive compensation, generous work/life opportunities and an outstanding benefits package that includes paid time off plus holidays. In addition, all colleagues are eligible for a number of rewards and recognition programs including billable bonus opportunities. Encouraging a healthy work/life balance and providing our colleagues great benefits are just part of what makes Perficient a great place to work.
