Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY:

Andersen Corporation if looking for a Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst at our Bayport, MN location to support strategy development and execution of sourcing gate deliverables required to launch new door projects. This position will be the central sourcing project lead collaborating with other functional areas including: the project team, research and development, operations, supply chain, category leads/suppliers, and finance. Candidate must be local to the MN area as there is no relocation assistance or sponsorship available for this position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage multiple new project development projects simultaneously, and continuous improvement projects as needed
  • Accountable for all sourcing activities and deliverables for assigned projects from inception to launch, holding internal functions and suppliers accountable for achieving key milestones
  • Partner with design engineering to aid with upfront design simplification, and support new technology and design needs, as well as lead technical reviews with suppliers.
  • Establish, gain approval, and own material cost targets for all supported projects.
  • Drive supplier tooling budget and development schedule for all sourced components in accordance with project milestones.
  • Work closely with sourcing category teams on bid list creation, supplier selection, and supplier readiness for production.
  • Become the subject matter expert of the Product Development Process, related to Sourcing.


MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain/Operations, Business, Engineering, or related degree is required
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, product development, supply chain, or operations
  • Project management experience with the ability to create project plans, manage schedules, adapt resources, and achieve project deliverables.
  • Organized and able to independently pursue concurrent resolution of multiple issues.
  • This person will travel locally less than 10% to other Andersen sites or supplier locations.


NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated success collaboratively leading and motivating others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Technical knowledge and/or previous fenestration product experience is a plus.

PAY RANGE:
$90,039.00 - $139,561.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
