DaVita's procurement team also known as PRISM (Procurement, Risk reduction, Innovation, and Supply Management) is on a multi-year journey of transforming our procurement / supply-chain / strategic sourcing process to be the best for our patients and partners and are looking for an innovative Category Manager, TravelServices with Travel Management Company contracting, Airline & Hotel rate negotiation experience to join our team.

Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

Travel / Entertainment / Meetings
  • Develop and drive category strategy(s) to assess market, supply/demand risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with corporate (Atlas) and field leaders to understand key supplier deliverables develop and implement meaningful service levels, and KPIs to meet objectives.
  • Act as primary point of contact for key travel related suppliers (ex, travel mgt company, top used airlines, hotels, and rental car companies); Facilitate and execute supplier meetings and operating reviews; Negotiate and execute necessary agreements.
  • Partner with DaVita's Account Payables team to support travel & expense related administration, training, and systems support (ex, Concur).
  • Partner with DaVita's Event Management (Wisdom) teams to support related categories and programs (e.g., Group Meetings >100 attendees)
  • Development of forward-thinking improvements that advance DaVita's ability to optimize our supply management capabilities and bring visibility to supplier performance and opportunities to deliver incremental value across the organization and to our patients, and teammates.
  • Monitor metrics, track progress and prepare presentations for senior management.
  • Influence and support company initiative as they relate to cost savings, supplier diversity, inclusion and sustainability.


Jet Services
  • Responsible for supporting jet services procurement activities for senior leaders and Board members
  • Serve as the point of contact between jet services suppliers and DaVita finance teams
  • Create and execute Purchase Orders and/or other payment needs
  • Resolve travel issues as they arise


Manage feedback communication with executives and suppliers

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of professional work experience
  • 3+ years of corporate travel experience required
  • Excellent executive presence and ability to interact directly with C-Suite leaders
  • 5+ years of Procurement/Purchasing Experience preferred
  • Schedule flexibility for needs outside normal business hours and accountable for ensuring backup support
  • Experience with vendor relationship management and working with 3rd party providers
  • Keen attention to detail with qualitative and quantitative inputs
  • Highly honed contracting and negotiation skills
  • Experience with travel management systems and technology (eg, Concur)
  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred)
  • CPSM or similar certification preferred

The Salary Range for the role is $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
