As a Procurement & Expense Management Specialist reporting to The Director, you'll play a critical role in driving cost optimization strategies, leading special projects, and delivering actionable insights across all categories of spend at Nasdaq.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support special projects and expense management initiatives across spend categories including Technology, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Market Data.
- Analyze internal and external spend data to identify savings opportunities and develop effective purchasing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to align sourcing strategies with organizational priorities.
- Lead competitive bid evaluations and deliver well-reasoned recommendations through rigorous analysis.
- Develop and present executive summary materials to senior leadership, clearly communicating findings and strategic recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement, expense management, sourcing, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Hands-on experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platforms and contract or vendor management systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba).
- Clear communicator with demonstrated ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Consulting experience in a procurement or strategic sourcing context.
- Experience with Power BI or other advanced analytics tools.
- Exposure to change management or project management methodologies.
