Job DescriptionThe Strategic Portfolio Manager is responsible for leading a team of project and program management professionals supporting strategic initiatives across Law & Regulation. This role oversees the intake, prioritization, planning, execution, governance, delivery and analytics of complex programs that drive business transformation, technology adoption, process redesign, and operational excellence.
The Manager will lead a team while serving as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, providing executive-level reporting, recommendations, and program insights. The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with enterprise project management expertise, business acumen, and the ability to influence organizational change across multiple stakeholders and functions.
This position plays a critical role in shaping and maturing the project and program management function while helping drive the successful implementation of large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and develop a team of project and program management professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and career development support.
- Oversee a portfolio of complex, cross-functional programs and projects that drive strategic business priorities and enterprise transformation.
- Partner with senior leaders to define program strategy, prioritize initiatives, and provide actionable recommendations that support business objectives.
- Lead large-scale technology implementation efforts, including AI-enabled solutions, driving adoption, stakeholder alignment, and business readiness.
- Establish and enhance program governance, reporting, risk management, and project management best practices to improve delivery outcomes.
- Drive business process redesign and operational improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level communications, dashboards, and presentations that translate complex information into clear business insights.
- Build strong partnerships across business, technology, operations, and change management teams to ensure successful execution of organizational priorities.
Minimum Qualifications - 7+ years of project, program, portfolio, business transformation, or related experience.
- 5+ years of direct people leadership experience, including coaching and developing direct reports.
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing complex projects from initiation through implementation.
- Willingness and ability to travel periodically for team offsites, leadership meetings, strategic planning sessions, and other business-related events as needed.

CompensationCompensation offered for this role is 110,000.00 - 181,025.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
