About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Initiatives Project Manager to lead and execute complex projects within our Senior Division. This role will help turn ambiguous business priorities into organized project plans clear next steps measurable outcomes and consistent execution across teams. Those who succeed in this role have a strong blend of project management experience analytical skills and strategic thinking to ensure alignment of project objectives with the company's overall mission and vision. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and resourceful professional adept at managing multiple stakeholders across various teams while navigating competing priorities.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:
  • Develop and execute project plans defining scope objectives dependencies and detailed work schedules in partnership with senior management and relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate task ownership track follow-ups clarify next steps and help teams maintain progress when requirements ownership or next steps are unclear
  • Act as a liaison between departments and the leadership team providing regular updates on project progress risks and opportunities

Tracking and Reporting:
  • Track project progress measure performance against established benchmarks and prepare regular status reports and presentations for stakeholders
  • Partner with analytics team to assess project outcomes measure success and provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement

Problem Solving and Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project obstacles implement mitigation strategies and proactively address any issues that arise to maintain project momentum.

Process Improvement:
  • Continuously assess and enhance processes by capturing lessons learned and optimizing workflows ensuring best practices are shared and adopted across projects.

Documentation:
  • Maintain project documentation such as project plans action item trackers decision logs risk registers meeting notes status reports and implementation checklists
  • Review the quality of work completed with the project team regularly to ensure it meets project standards

Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications providing updates on project status risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Facilitate meetings communicate needs and project standings and summarize deliverables to keep teams updated and aligned throughout the project
  • Drive project momentum by rapidly synthesizing meeting outcomes executing immediate follow-ups and managing deliverables with a high sense of urgency to meet project timelines


Skills/Abilities:
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing projects from start to finish including full implementation of systems or processes
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with a proven track record of effectively conveying complex information and influencing others. Strong teamwork and leadership skills are essential for fostering collaboration and driving results across diverse groups.
  • Organization & Prioritization: Highly organized individual with the ability to track multiple work streams and projects at once and effectively prioritize between competing priorities
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically aligning project objectives with the company's long-term goals and vision
  • Comfort in Ambiguity: Comfort operating in ambiguous environments where project scope ownership timelines and success metrics may need to be clarified as work progresses.
  • Influence Without Authority: Ability to influence and follow up with cross-functional partners without direct authority.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Project Management or a related field with at least five years of experience in project management

Physical Requirements:

Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
