Job Title: Strategic Account Manager

Accountability: This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Business Development - Technology Partners
Posting: We are seeking a collaborative and strategically minded Account Manager to drive partner growth and strengthen our global technology ecosystem. This role is responsible for leading high-value relationships with OEMs and key technology partners-combining analytical insight, active outreach, and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities, achieve performance targets, and position our company as the partner of choice.
This position focuses on growth and engagement across all verticals Retail, Hospitality, Public Sector, Transportation & Logistics, and Warehouse markets,
The ideal candidate is a hunter who excels at managing up and across, has a deep understanding of the distribution channel and OEM landscape, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where strategy meets execution. The position is remote, with preference to an east coast location, with approximately 50% travel to meet with partners, attend industry events, and support field initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Strategic Partner Management: Develop and maintain Partner Road Maps to guide growth strategies, align initiatives, and track progress across key accounts.
- Partner Intelligence & Research: Gather detailed intelligence through business reviews, industry events, SKOs, and daily partner interactions to identify objectives, challenges, and new areas of opportunity.
- Opportunity Prioritization: Lead the analysis and prioritization of opportunities most critical to each partner's success, ensuring a balanced approach across research, product alignment, and relationship development.
- Value Proposition Alignment: Clearly position the company's value proposition and global capabilities within partner ecosystems to drive joint business growth.
- Executive Relationship Management: Maintain strong, trusted relationships at the executive, director, and manager levels-coordinating with local and global teams to ensure consistent engagement and alignment.
- Performance Delivery: Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual performance targets through proactive pipeline development, active outreach, and account expansion initiatives.
- Engagement Leadership: Lead monthly alignment calls with partners, uncover project opportunities, and drive engagement strategies that position the company as a preferred and trusted partner.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Leverage internal teams-including Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations- to expand awareness and deepen strategic engagement across global accounts.
- Growth Identification: Conduct market and competitive research to identify high-potential partners, new vertical opportunities, and emerging technologies that align with business objectives.
- Hunter Mindset: Actively pursue new partnerships, cultivate new relationships, and build long-term growth pipelines through consistent outreach and creative engagement strategies.
- Manage Up & Across: Confidently communicate insights, partner feedback, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership-driving visibility and action on critical initiatives.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in business related field or equivalent work experience
- MBA/Master's degree, a plus
- 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic account management, or channel sales in the hardware manufacturing or technology industry.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including Havis HQ visit
- Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth targets through OEM and distribution partnerships.
- Strong understanding of technology ecosystems including OEMs, ISVs, and distribution partners.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining executive-level relationships across global markets.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills-capable of leading through coordination rather than authority.
- Analytical, research-driven thinker with ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

- Location: Remote - East of Texas (Central to Eastern U.S. region).
