Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Store Engineer Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to join our Specialty Trades Team, bringing strong project management capabilities to support the planning, design, permitting, and execution of capital projects across existing Kwik Trip retail locations.
In this role, you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating timelines, resources, and communication across internal teams and external partners. You will develop project scopes, prepare documentation, and manage store equipment repairs, installations, additions, and upgrades. From initial concept through final completion, you will ensure each project is delivered efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company standards.
This position plays a critical role in enhancing store operations, improving customer experience, and supporting long-term asset performance across hundreds of locations.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate holds an associate degree or brings at least three years of experience in project management or construction-related fields, supported by a solid understanding of general construction practices. This role requires strong analytical and organizational abilities, including the capacity to evaluate information, interpret data, and translate findings into actionable project decisions.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to lead, teach, and collaborate effectively with co-workers and vendors. Success in this position depends on sound judgment, adherence to company policies, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
The right individual is highly organized, motivated, and self-directed, capable of maintaining project schedules and budgets with minimal supervision. Additional requirements include:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
- A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
- Willingness to travel as needed
Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the La Crosse, WI area.Work schedule:This is a full-time position averaging 45 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with some evening meetings and occasional overnights. Scheduling flexibility is required, as hours vary based on the needs of the Store Engineering department.
