Full Job Description
How You'll Make an Impact

Your primary function is to develop manufacturing solutions, create and maintain process instructions, and support manufacturing operations for the Generator Stator manufacturing facility. You will support the generator stator operations which include both new build and disassembly / refurbishment of major factory service projects. You will also support the generator stator expansion project and global supplier qualification.

How You'll Make an Impact
• Partner with Design Engineering to develop manufacturable solutions and processes for new and service stator builds.
• Create, document, and maintain detailed work instructions; train and support the hourly workforce on processes, product function, and CTQs.
• Lead supplier qualification efforts (PFMEA, IPPQ, MQCP, first article, production release), including domestic and international collaboration and travel.
• Design, procure, and document tooling using 3D CAD; interface with vendors to support stator assembly processes.
• Provide hands-on manufacturing support, including troubleshooting, failure analysis, nonconformance resolution, and leading RCA/CAPA using standard tools (e.g., 5 Whys, 8D).
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence (LEAN, 5S, cycle-time reduction), lead process reviews, support RFQ/tendering, and manage capital/tooling and facility initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering discipline or manufacturing equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of various manufacturing processes including metal joining / brazing and tooling common to hand skill areas.
  • History of working well with others in a collaborative environment.
• 5+ years hands on experience in manufacturing related field
