State Medical Director - Kentucky

Addiction Medicine & Behavioral Health Leadership

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a Board-Certified Physician Leader to serve as our Kentucky State Medical Director and oversee substance use disorder treatment services throughout the state. This physician executive role provides strategic clinical leadership, physician supervision, quality oversight, regulatory compliance management, and medical operations support across a growing network of addiction treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead physician services, supervise providers, ensure quality and compliance, support recruitment and credentialing, lead quality improvement initiatives, facilitate regulatory reviews, provide medical team training, and oversee statewide clinical operations.

Required Qualifications:
  • MD or DO; active unrestricted state license; DEA registration; Board Certification in Addiction Medicine or related specialty; addiction treatment experience; physician leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Behavioral health leadership, multi-site oversight, CARF experience, EMR/EHR proficiency.
