Full Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive strategic, cross-functional programs across Software Platform. You will own programs end-to-end - aligning engineering, product, and business stakeholders, driving clarity through ambiguity, and ensuring technical outcomes ship on time. This role requires both technical depth and organizational leadership: you\'ll translate complex engineering efforts into actionable plans, surface risks early, and hold teams accountable.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO:
  • Help define and execute the roadmap for SWP, working across groups to de-risk dependencies and keep teams aligned on what ships when
  • Autonomously execute with a high degree of ownership on broad requirements, managing stakeholders across the Software Platform organization, Business Lines and other company partners simultaneously and delivering successful outcomes
  • Manage, unblock, and accelerate cross-team projects spanning multiple functional teams and cross-functional initiatives. Instill an efficient project management mindset and workflow across the teams
  • Collaborate with product leads to scope, staff, and deliver capabilities that achieve company milestones, while supporting leads with staffing plans and prioritization
  • Help define and serve as the Software Platform champion for our program management standards, tools, processes and mechanisms
  • Track and communicate program progress, defining efficient processes for broader status updates and proactively managing issues and obstacles. Clearly communicate across all stakeholders, ensuring the dependencies and blockers made clear, and tracked and acted on consistently
  • Stand up and maintain SWP-wide KPIs that give leadership real signal on progress, health, and bottlenecks
  • Understand technical implementation at the architectural level, propose alternatives when necessary. Corral key performance indicators from across the business to help shape future organizational investments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 12-15+ years experience as a TPM in a high-paced, software development environment.
  • Robust technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, trade-offs and risks; ability to work closely and effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong experience and familiarity in project management for software development; practical familiarity with a variety of methodologies and ability to apply them where best suited.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence as well as understanding of Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive decisions.
  • Experience is rolling out wide-ranging organizational process changes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in building programs for software deliverables from ground up
  • Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and with minimal direction
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC-PEN, Prosci, SAFe or PMP
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline
