Responsibilities

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Sentinel Segment for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, escalated when necessary.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of program and division principles and operating practices.
  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines to understand and resolve user problems.
  • Identify process gaps and common issues for training opportunities.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including job aids.

Candidate will Act as a Sentinel Segment SME to support Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcenter) user and tool issues

o Triage and prioritize impact of user issues

o Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve user issues when possible

o Elevate user issues when needed

o Follow user support workflow

• Learn program and division Principle & Operating Practices to identify correct PLM usage

• Work closely with program user community

• Act as a liaison across multiple engineering disciplines

• Identify potential gap in processes

• Identify repeat and common user issues for training opportunities

• Participate with key stakeholders to troubleshoot and drive technical resolution for CPLM, Teamcenter and NX related issues associated with the design release process.

• Assist with Identification of new CPLM Requirements and CPLM User Acceptance Testing.

• Assist with creating and maintaining product documentation in the form of job aids.

• Candidate will bring a strong ability to comprehend, implement and adhere to documented processes with an inherent ability to make sound decisions.

• Candidate will professionally represent the Strategic Deterrent Systems and Sentinel organizations while interacting with internal and external contacts including suppliers, senior personnel and executive leadership on matters requiring coordination between organizations and sectors.

• This position will be located in Roy, UT


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Typical Minimum Education or Experience

• (T05) Staff Software Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of experience, 10 years with Masters, or 8 years with PHD degree

• Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years, with the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

• Experience with Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter/CPLM (2 year minimum).

• Experience with CPLM administrator tasking i.e.; Workflow creation, user management groups, CN, CR, creation

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a ticketing workflow system (Service Now) / Siemens CPLM system

• Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) analysis tools, familiarity with Strategic Deterrence, Product Lifecycle Management, and cloud computing

• Knowledge of System Engineering principles and requirements management

• Configuration management experience within CPLM and the capability to create and assign Change Notices and releases.

• The ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program stakeholder needs.

• The ability to identify and address program impacts through systematic and proactive approaches to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors and promptly resolves conflicts.

• Competence and confidence working under pressure on requests with short turn-around times.

• The ability to lead a small team training session’s



Primary Level Salary Range: $139,000.00 - $208,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
