Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on structural dynamics and design; advanced degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience, with 3-5 years for advanced degree holders.
• Proficiency in finite element methods and software such as MathCad, SAP2000, LS-DYNA, and AutoCAD.
• Experience in dynamic, non-linear structural analysis and 3-D modeling.
• Strong communication, presentation, and technical skills, along with independence and self-motivation.
• Must obtain a security clearance through a government investigation.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design, ranging from simple static calculations to complex dynamic analyses.
• Collaborate with other engineers to conduct static and dynamic analysis for extreme events.
• Create comprehensive calculation packages and technical reports detailing analysis results and recommendations.
• Conduct limited travel for site-specific data collection when necessary.
• Engage in project-specific testing and nurture relationships with existing clients while pursuing new business opportunities.
