**THIS IS A HYBRID OPPORTUNITY FOR CANDIDATES THAT LIVE IN THE MIDDLETOWN, PA AREA, AS YOU MUST BE ON-SITE 2 DAYS A WEEK**

Job Requirements

The Project Manager will lead cross-functional manufacturing and product development projects, acting as the primary liaison between engineering, operations, suppliers, and stakeholders. This role is responsible for driving project execution, managing schedules, risks, resources, and deliverables, while supporting manufacturability, process development, supplier readiness, and continuous improvement efforts to achieve quality, cost, and launch goals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional projects from concept through production launch, ensuring alignment to business objectives, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, and status reporting for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product management teams.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and roadblocks to ensure successful project execution.
  • Drive accountability for project deliverables, milestones, and action items across functional teams.
  • Drive diverse and inclusion workplace by identifying individual differences and their value.
  • Creating and submitting capital expenditure requests for Business Unit/Segment approval.
  • Analyzing and presenting scenarios for optimal process flow/cell design on margin sensitive value streams.
  • Identifying cost drivers for focused improvement efforts / manufacturing tooling or process options.
  • Evaluating capacity impact for proposed modifications on existing tooling / process / plant operations to help sourcing decisions.
  • Creating phased manufacturing capacity plans for projects reflecting a volume ramp.
  • Collaborating with the Manufacturing Development Engineering team to fully understand sourcing decisions for tooling and processes via value stream mapping exercises.
  • Conducting time studies to drive visualization of key process inefficiencies


What your background should look like

  • Bachelor of Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree.
  • 8 or more years of experience with and understanding manufacturing tooling and processes related to stamping, machining, molding, and stamping.
  • Excellent leadership ability to manage cross functional project team.
  • Ability to work towards completion of projects within defined schedules.
  • Working knowledge of six sigma and lean manufacturing tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize a rapidly changing set of objectives.
  • Capability to work in a fast paced, dynamic global environment with multiple changing priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Software: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Access
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills; Microsoft Project experience a plus.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $121,400 - $152,000( (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
