Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or related Engineering Technology from ABET accredited program and FE exam completed, with 3 years of process engineering experience; or a Master's Degree with 2 years of experience.
• Experience in water or wastewater process engineering preferred, covering treatment systems or industrial water utilities.
• Strong understanding of engineering techniques and standard procedures.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to solve quantitative problems with analytical methods and critical thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and process simulation software such as Hysys or Aspen.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization, facilitation, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform process design and execution for water and wastewater treatment projects in municipal or industrial contexts.
• Develop technical approaches for treatment systems and facility processes.
• Manage day-to-day process engineering tasks, including project planning and control over scope, schedule, and budget.
• Set project objectives and performance goals, delivering technical insights to clients.
• Engage in client development and proposal preparation while coordinating with regulatory agencies.
• Support the growth of the Regional and National Water Practice.
• Communicate project needs effectively to management and mentor junior engineering staff.
