Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and excited by the opportunity to help establish a new urgent care center within a growing, Yale-affiliated healthcare organization?

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician to join our newest center in New Canaan, Connecticut.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new location from the beginning and help shape the patient experience, clinical culture, and long-term success of a center serving one of Fairfield County's most vibrant communities. Your Role as a Staff Physician

Patient Care Excellence

Provide high-quality, evidence-based care for patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and episodic healthcare needs.

Procedural Expertise

Perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, and management of orthopedic-related conditions.

Clinical Leadership

Serve as a trusted clinical resource within the center while partnering with providers and team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and experiences.

Community Impact

Help improve access to high-quality healthcare by delivering convenient, compassionate care to patients and families throughout the New Canaan community.

What We're Looking For
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
  • Active State Medical License
  • Controlled Substance Registration
  • Federal DEA Registration
  • ACLS and PALS Certification
  • Demonstrated experience performing routine urgent care procedures
  • Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or related clinical experience preferred
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence
